Leaders: Ronda and Darren GreenRonda Green is a research ecologist (PhD in zoology) and has lectured in population ecology, conservation boogy, nature tourism and other topics at several universities and has conducted research in three states but primarily southeast Queensland. She has also run a holiday farm with nature activiies (as well as horsemanship, care on native and domestic animals and other actviies), conducted a special project for the Australian Conservavation Foundation on recreational and educational outdoor activities for primary-aged children, been ranger in charge of interpretive activities for all ages at Binna Burra, run (for three years) a tertiray course for primary teaching students on nature activities for chidren, run courses on wutheast Qld wildlife and introduction to birdwatching and brd behaviour for adult education (TAFE) and led many voluntary talks, actvites and excursions for ages from pre-school to adult. Darren Green has spent his entire life in the Scenic Rim and for over a decade has been leading tours with Araucaria Ecotours. He is a keen nature photographer and has been assisting with ecological surveys since an early age. In addition to conducting the activities described above, she is available with sufficient notice for presentations, excursions and camps in other regions.
